I’ve been wanting to build this space for a while now and honestly the hardest part was just… starting. So consider this me starting. No grand intro, no perfectly curated first post. Just me, a cup of something hot, and a lot of things I want to share.
My name is Chrissy – most people call me Illu – and I’ve been drawn to dark, witchy, beautiful things for as long as I can remember. Not in a phase kind of way. In a this is just who I am kind of way. A lot of it came through music first. The kind that makes you feel like you’re somewhere else entirely. That feeling never really left, it just spread into everything – how I dress, how I decorate, what I read, what I collect.
xviiithemoon is named after The Moon in tarot – card XVIII. Mystery, intuition, the beautiful unknown. It felt right the second I thought of it.
What you’ll find here: dark aesthetics, witchy living, things I’m obsessed with, seasonal stuff, the occasional find that made me stop scrolling. I’m not here to be a perfectly polished content machine. I’m here because I genuinely love this stuff and I want a place to put it all.
